The
Smith, Ozman & Joseph’s Internship Program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to observe the inner-workings
of the hospitality industry. Participants, organized via a network of college students, will gain in-depth knowledge of the
responsibilities and duties involved in the successful operation of a professional services company by performing actual tasks.
Through observation, participation and evaluation, the SOJ, Inc. intern will develop a hands-on understanding of a wide variety
of hospitality professions such as promotion, contract negotiations, fundraising, marketing, exhibit management, and site
selection, among others. We value the vital role intern’s play in helping to shape the future direction of SOJ, Inc.,
and view it as an integral part of our operations.
Smith, Ozman & Joseph's
will seek only the best candidates from across the country. Self-motivated, independent thinking, assertive, self starter,
entrepreneurial minded individuals possessing a willingness to learn will fit the SOJ, Inc. mold. And while we want to teach,
we also need to learn. Communication and feedback are critical. Each region of the country is different and through on-going
input from our interns, we will be better equipped to address the specific needs of each area.
